Cardi B Makes History At The Top Of Billboard’s 100 Best With “Bodak Yellow”

The female rapper’s hit single “Bodak Yellow” is turning heads.

Cardi B is making history on Billboard’s Hot 100 list, becoming the first Dominican female rapper to land in the number one spot.

Upon reaching the record breaking milestone, Cardi B received praise on social media from her female rapper peers Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliot and Lil’ Kim, who all congratulated her on the achievement.

Cardi B was born Belcalis Almanzar, on October 11, 1992, to a Trinidadian mother and Dominican father. Her hit single “Bodak Yellow” was called “the rap anthem of the summer” by the New York Times and is available now.
